With the opening of his new pediatric dentist office in Woodstock, Georgia, Dr. Julius Park has created a child friendly and welcoming atmosphere for your family. Dr. Park and his dentist’s staff are dedicated to providing quality pediatric dentist care to meet the oral health needs of the children of Cherokee and Cobb counties. As your child’s dentist, Dr. Park will establish a strong and lasting relationship with you and your child, to ensure a lifetime of healthy, happy smiles!

ABOUT DR. JULIUS PARK, PEDIATRIC DENTIST

Dr. Park is a gentle, caring pediatric dentist who uses the most advanced technology and procedures available, for your child’s comfort and safety. He practices comfortable, mercury-free, health-centered dentistry with a strong emphasis on getting to know each child personally. In addition to his technical proficiency, Dr. Park’s kid-oriented approach and communication style will put your child at ease. Your dentist is a careful listener and will take the time to explain beforehand the course of treatment best for your child’s dental needs.

Dr. Park has worked his entire life to promote the health of children starting as an American Red Cross volunteer and traveling to South America to vaccinate children in Paraguay. While attending college, Dr. Park traveled to Ghana, Africa to help build a dormitory for a school for deaf children. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Biophysics from the University of California at Berkeley, Dr. Park received the prestigious William J. Fulbright scholarship and spent one year teaching at an all boys high school in South Korea.

HARVARD SCHOOL OF DENTAL MEDICINE

Dr. Park received his doctorate in dental medicine from the prestigious Harvard School of Dental Medicine. During his doctoral studies at Harvard, Dr. Park found that he especially enjoyed working to develop healthy smiles for children. Dr. Park chose to specialize as a pediatric dentist and completed a two year Pediatric Dental Residency Program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.  He has since taken many continuing education courses, including those in Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Contemporary Sedation Techniques for Children, Pediatric Medical Emergencies and Comprehensive Review of Pediatric Dentistry sponsored by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Presently, Dr. Park is a proud member of the Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Georgia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

DR. PARK’S FAMILY LIFE

Dr. Park and his wife live in Northwest Georgia with their two children. After practicing for many years in successful dentist practices in New York and New Jersey, he and his family love living in Georgia and being a part of the community. Dr. Park enjoys traveling, experiencing new cultures, playing acoustic guitar, singing, and spending quality time with his family.
